In today's time people’s life are been occupied with all materialistic items. When we talk about people being materialistic it doesn’t only relate with the technological to electrical items but what I mean to talk about is choices of people on their eating habits and nutrition priorities.

There are millions of different choices of man- made to machines made food available inside the market on which human being depends to satisfy their hunger. The more they are consuming the addiction and demand of these types of foods also has been increased which are called commonly called Junk Food, Fast Food. But have we ever realized what sort of changes it is bringing to our lives.

People these days no-more care about the beneficial Nutrition rich food instead more priorities are given by them is Junk and Fast food. But have we ever wondered why people are being so dependent on these sort of short-cut food to satisfy the huger?

Four reality behind why people are so attached with the Fast food chain and Junk Foods.


Nutrition ignorance: This is my top most reality on why people are addicted to the junk and fast-food. People lack nutrition knowledge it’s not because they have no idea about it they just simply ignore it. Leaving the children aside even the elder people are lacking the knowledge about the nutrition they should be consuming for the healthy life. What I meant to say is preventive measures are not taken rather people are normally getting aware after they have been caught with some sort of disease.


Busy-schedule: This is also one of the major reason why people are being so much attached with it. In the major cities of different countries people really have a busy schedule which doesn’t allow them to have a time to cook for themselves. So in this kind of cases nutrition becomes the second priority. People are forced to eat foods available in the market because of the lack of time. But its not 100% true though, people can manage the time if they are really conscious about the nutrition that they should be taking on daily basis. Again here somehow indirectly ignorance come into picture. But this also true that busy schedule makes people feel very tired and they are no more motivated to cook for themselves and healthy nutrition rich food of their own choice.

Trending: We don’t realize this but trending is also one of the major factor of people being attached due to expansion of social media. Now a days eating a fast-food is like a trend especially among teenagers as well as adult. In the modern days people go to fast-food in any occasions from birthday celebration to anniversary celebration. It nowadays come under the fancy lifestyle so teenagers prefer going there often.
Fast-food chain have been able to manipulate people to least prioritize the nutritious food due to its addictive taste and flavours.


Additives: Have we ever wondered why we frequently crave for the fast food and junk foods. It’s because of its taste as far as we know. But how does that taste come from? The simple answer is it comes from different flavouring agents like Monosodium Glutamate(MSG), Casein which are the different flavouring agent that are added in these kind of foods. It’s not only about the taste it is also harmful to us by the health point of the view which can bring a very slow negative effect in our body.
